Infrastructure Intern - Lehi
Build real-world civil engineering experience on Utah infrastructure projects, learn from experienced professionals, and help strengthen communities as an employee-owner.
Civil Science is seeking motivated Infrastructure Interns for Summer 2027. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting public infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced engineers, technicians, inspectors, and survey professionals.
You will contribute to real projects, gain exposure to multiple areas of civil engineering, and learn how infrastructure improvements move from planning and design through construction. Our team will provide guidance and mentoring while giving you opportunities to ask questions, take initiative, and make a meaningful contribution.
What You’ll Do
Support a variety of transportation, municipal, utility, and other public infrastructure projects.
Assist engineers and project teams with plans, drawings, quantities, and technical tasks.
Gain experience using industry software
Communicate with project managers, contractors, clients, and other team members.
Travel to project sites as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Current enrollment in civil engineering, construction engineering, or a related program.
Are interest in transportation, construction, or public infrastructure.
A willingness to learn, ask questions, take initiative, and take ownership of your work.
Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented approach.
Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam is a plus.
The ability to pass a background check and driving-record review.
